Question:  Do I need an appointment?  

Answer:  You have to ask yourself, has my income changed substantially over the past year?  Have I made any big purchases over the past year?  If your answer to these is no and your tax return is similar to last year, you do not need a tax appointment.  

Question:  Do I need to bring in original documents?  

Answer:  No, we do not want any orignial documentation.  To lessen office liabilty, we only want scanned documents in our office.  By bringing us copies, we are able to keep what we need and discard what we don't.  

Question:  Does your office prefer documents uploaded via the portal or email? 

Answer:  We prefer the portal.  It is our most secure means of transfering documents as it is not a hardrive and it does not permanently store the documents.  If you do choose to email them, you are acknowledging that you are potentially putting your personal information at risk.  

Question:  How do I scan my documents so I can upload them on the portal if I don't have a scanner/printer?  

Answer:  You have two options.  You can either take a picture with your phone OR you can download this easy AND FREE scanning app.  This is the easiest and most efficient way to scan your documents through.  

Question:  What are my login credentials for the portal?  

Answer:  Your username is always your email address associated with the portal.  If you forgot your password or never set one up, you can just click the "forgot password" link to reset it.  We don't have access to ever retrieve your password for you.  

Question:  Where is my organizer, how do I access it?  

Answer:  Because we are trying to cut down on paper, we are only mailing out organizers if you call in and request one.  If you would like a general PDF organizer or an organizer based on your last tax season, please call in and request one.  

Question:  How much will it cost for you to prepare my return?  

Answer:  The base price fee for a personal return starts at $400 with a corporate return starting at $700.  These can go up or down depending on the complexity of the return.  

Question:  Can I get my return mailed to me?  

Answer:  We offer the the service of mailing you one copy of your tax return, per request.  If you request any additonal copies to be mailed, it will be a fee of $50.  We always offer the option to upload it into the portal, free of charge.
